Hector Mackenzie Gordon (Managing Director)

Mr Gordon is a geologist with over 30 years of experience in the petroleum industry.  Prior to joining Somerton in April 2010 he was employed by Beach Energy Limited as its Chief Executive Officer.   His previous employers also include Santos Limited, AGL Petroleum, TMOC Resources, Esso Australia and Delhi Petroleum Pty Ltd.

Mr Gordon is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) and the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).
